Vulnerability in safe spaces can lead to healing, but it’s often uncomfortable and avoided. Our brains naturally protect us through avoidance, yet this pattern can hinder growth and change. You may have faced judgment when seeking support or struggled to find safe spaces—I want to encourage you! By joining Hummingbird Counseling & Consulting, LLC, you're taking an important step, and you’re not alone.

As a licensed clinical psychologist, I create culturally responsive spaces where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. With nine years of experience, I provide compassionate, inclusive care for children, adolescents, adults, and parents. I earned my doctorate from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed my postdoctoral fellowship at Michigan State University.

My approach is rooted in warmth, empathy, and cultural humility. I tailor therapy to each client, integrating evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) strategies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. I support clients in managing depression, anxiety, stress, grief, parenting challenges, family stressors, trauma, burnout, and medical conditions.
